In February of last year, I first discovered Trigun. During the first weeks of my interest, it took me a little while before Legato really took my eye. March 10th: the day I finally realized just how much he means to me. The day I first accepted that he was more than just a muse.

Legato, you've made me more happy than I can even say. I know you're not real, and that a "real" relationship can't ever happen between us, but that doesn't stop me from being so madly in love with you. Just seeing your face makes my heart flutter; just thinking about you puts a smile on my face. I wish you could know how loved you are. I want to love you forever. <3

Yesterday I went to Walmart with a friend of mine to pick up some craft supplies, and I saw these that reminded me so much of Legato, so I made a simple little necklace out of them using some hemp cord. I know it's pretty rudimentary, but I still love having something physical to remind me of my love <3.

Unfortunately, I also managed to tie the cord's knot too tight and it won't fit around my head so I can actually wear it. If I can't manage to get the knot undone then I guess I'll hang it up somewhere for decoration, or maybe I'll just take the beads off and put them on a new cord that I didn't totally mess up.

Just wanted to remind anyone that might not have seen it that F/OVember and Profovember is happening throughout November on Tumblr! During F/OVember you can create an "f/o takeover" post on your blog declaring that your asks are open to any question regarding your f/os. You can also roleplay as your f/os if you wish. Profovember is basically the same thing but more geared towards proshippers or anyone else that doesn't want to post in the main tag which was created by an anti, where you can post more about f/os that are more of a taboo nature.

pairofthree , that was a member of a Legato fan community that was active from around 2004-2017. Their own blog hasn't been updated since 2008, but thankfully their gems of Legato art have stood the test of time.

This is my favorite picture of him. I actually have it set as my profile picture on Rate Your Music too. Someone on tumblr once said he looked like a member of the Visual Kei band in the 1990s and I whole-heartedly agree.

It makes me sad to think about how in canon, he's really only allowed to serve one purpose without getting to expand on his character. In turn, most of the fanworks I see for him have to do with his relationship with Knives. It makes sense; after all, Knives is the reason he is alive and free of the hell he once lived in, but at the same time I wish we had more discussion of how he sees himself.

1. I've been selfshipping since I was a little girl. In fact, I think the first character I could really classify as an f/o was Scorch from this shitty, forgettable kids film called Escape from Planet Earth. I used to draw pictures of him and I and show them to my elementary school classmates who all thought it was cringe, but that didn't stop me from drawing even more.

2. My current f/os are Bertholdt Hoover, Floch Forster, and Legato Bluesummers. Bertholdt and Floch are both from Attack on Titan while Legato is from Trigun. I'd say Bertholdt is the one I'm attached to the most.

3. Alot of my f/os are characters that go relatively unappreciated by their respective fandoms, though lately theres been more love for Bertholdt. I think they're all much more complex than members of the fandom give them credit for, especially Floch and Legato.

5. I don't really make playlists for my ships, but I enjoy making them for the specific character instead. I've been developing one for Bertholdt lately.
